We photographed Susie, Drew, Jerry, and the twins... Sutton and Bennett in their home in West Hollywood. Drew hired us as a present for his sister, Susie - to capture her with the twins in their "natural" environment - to thank her for everything she has done.

They have a very interesting and special story. When Drew and Jerry started going through the process of finding an egg donor, it became very frustrating as things started falling through. Out of the blue, Susie rang and said, of course I am donating the eggs, and it was a done deal. Not only did Susie donate her eggs, but she has spend the last 3 months living with them and helping with the twins.
With any one else in the world, the situation would complicate the relationships, but this family is just truly thankful to have these 2 beautiful babies in their lives. Though I am sure Susie will miss the twins when she goes back to her "real" life in New York this month, she knows she will always be a part of their lives as their special aunty Susie.

I met Jennifer and Eric under the Coronado Bridge on their weekend trip out from Arizona. They got in engaged at the Hotel Del Coronado - so it was a special place for them. They are, officially, the tallest couple I have ever photographed... Eric being 6'8" and Jennifer about 5'9"!

Yvonne and Sam are actually from down south, but they were keen to get their engagement session in San Francisco. Sam is a bit of a photographer himself, and brought his Leica along. I have to say, getting photos taken of us on an engagement session was different... but fun....

When James and Sophia suggested we go to the Montgomery Bart Station to take photos of them while they busked, I thought it was a great idea! It never occurred to me, however, that they might actually be really really good! It took a little persuading on James' part to get Sophia to sing with him, but when she did... wow! I was seriously impressed (as was the passing crowd, they got quite a few fans and even made $5!)

We LOVE destination weddings, probably because we have a soft spot in our heart for them, as we had one ourselves... ok, ok, and we love white sand, warm water and tropical drinks as well!

This is the first installation of Kimberly and Koji's wedding in Aruba. Here are some photos from their day before session, their cocktail reception, and our explorations around the desert island.
In typical Jaime fashion... I was enjoying my tropical cocktail, soaking up the gorgeous sun, not bothering a thing. I noticed a cup start to blow into the water, I reached to grab it, steadied my self on the railing, and... what do you know... there was a wasp right where I grabbed! For those of you who don't know me yet, I am completely and unlucky and fall, run into things, scrape, ding, sting myself... all the time! Luckily for me, Koji is a surgeon, and Kimberly's mother is an ER nurse... so I was in good hands!
In typical Dennis fashion... he took photos of the whole thing.

We told everyone to bring props to their engagement sessions this time, and Ashley and Willy showed up at Union Station in LA with a vintage suitcase, a newspaper and a book...

Lissy and Chris approached us early last year to photograph their 2 weddings... we were booked on their first date (which was, unfortunately for us, in Italy!). But we are photographing their wedding here in the US in July. We met up with them at Matador Beach in Malibu...
